Summary
Jourmingo is a personal artificial intelligence designed to work locally, including without internet. Core use does not require an account. Conversations, documents, images, and audio are not sent to Jourmingo servers by default.
Jourmingo does not sell personal data, show ads, or use your content for advertising.
Data accessed and permissions
Jourmingo accesses information only when you choose a matching feature or grant permission:
- Conversations: text you send and generated responses.
- Documents and files: items you choose for reading, querying, conversion, or editing.
- Photos and camera: selected or captured images for analysis and local text recognition.
- Microphone: audio recorded when you start voice input.
- Device Calendar: write access requested when you confirm creating an event in a local calendar.
- Google Calendar: events from calendars you select; additional write access only when you choose to create or change events.
- Google Drive: names, types, and identifiers used to choose documents; file content only when you confirm a local snapshot.
- Google Tasks: lists and tasks you select; additional write access only when you confirm an action that changes tasks.
- Gmail: only Primary inbox messages from the past 30 days, up to 100 messages, when you explicitly connect Gmail. Jourmingo never sends, archives, labels, or downloads attachments.
- Google identity: account identifier and email address, used to keep integrations linked to the account you selected.
- Device information: memory, storage, thermal state, and battery, used locally to adapt performance.
- Activation diagnostics: device memory class, network class, consent outcome, success or failure, time range, and preparation version. These events contain no conversations, responses, audio, transcripts, attachments, or file names.
You can revoke system permissions in Settings. Google permissions can be removed by disconnecting the integration in Jourmingo or through the connections page of your Google Account. Jourmingo does not request continuous background access to camera, microphone, or location.
How information is used
Content you provide is used to answer requests, preserve conversation context, analyze files and images, synchronize only selected items, and perform confirmed actions.
Technical activation events are used in aggregate to detect offline preparation failures by device and network class. They are not used for advertising, content personalization, data sales, or individual profiling.
Jourmingo's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. This data is not used for advertising, sale, credit decisions, or training general or shared models. Humans do not read your Google data unless you request specific support and give explicit consent, or access is required for security or legal compliance.
Core processing happens on the device. Jourmingo does not build advertising profiles.
Storage, retention, and deletion
Conversations, memory, related images, generated files, and integration copies are stored locally on your device. Google authorization credentials are protected in the iOS Keychain. Jourmingo does not send this content or these credentials to its own servers.
Calendar, Drive, and Tasks data remains only while the matching integration is connected or until you erase local data. The Gmail copy contains up to 100 recent Primary inbox messages; records expire after 30 days. Reply drafts stay only in Jourmingo.
Content-free activation diagnostics may wait locally while offline and are sent after the measurement service is enabled. On the server, they are added to daily counts without storing an event for each installation. Aggregate buckets expire after 62 days. Derived reports may remain without identifying an individual installation.
Disconnecting an integration erases its credentials, cache, selection, and provider-managed local data from the device without deleting originals from Google. Independent artifacts you created and chose to keep remain local. You can also revoke Jourmingo access from your Google Account.
The app provides controls to erase conversations and memory. File operations preserve the original and create a new file only after your confirmation.
Jourmingo does not provide accounts. There is therefore no online Jourmingo account to delete. Local-only data can be erased in the app or by removing the app from your device.
Connections and external services
Jourmingo Core
An internet connection is required to download or update the local intelligence package called Jourmingo Core. The download may be delivered by Hugging Face. This provider may receive standard connection information such as IP address, date, time, and request details under its own policy.
Apple
Installation and updates are managed by the App Store. Apple processes information under its own policy. Jourmingo does not receive your store credentials.
When you connect an integration, the app communicates directly from your device with Google's identity, Calendar, Drive, Tasks, or Gmail services. Google handles authentication and service data under its policies. Jourmingo receives only the tokens and data required by the features you authorize; it never receives your Google password.
Google Firebase receives the enumerated technical events above through an abuse-protected function and retains only aggregate counts. Firebase may process an IP address and a technical token in transit to operate and protect the service under Firebase privacy and security. Jourmingo does not use Firebase Analytics.
This website
This website uses no analytics, advertising pixels, or profiling cookies. The voluntary survey is processed in your browser and only prepares an email; answers and your address reach Jourmingo only if you review and send that email.
Your choices
- Decline or revoke system permissions.
- Connect only the Google integrations you want and select specific calendars, files, or lists.
- Disconnect integrations in Jourmingo or revoke access from your Google Account.
- Delete individual conversations, all history, or local memory.
- Delete generated files or the app through the system.
- Request clarification through the contact channel below.
Children’s privacy
Jourmingo is not specifically directed to children and does not knowingly seek to collect children’s personal data. Because core content stays local, Jourmingo does not maintain an online database of children’s profiles.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when features or data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through the app or this website when appropriate.
